Meet Cilla!

Cilla the turkey came to us recently as she was the last turkey of one of our kind donators, after the rest of her flock passed over time and she needed the company of other birds. Cilla is an amazing 7 years old, so is a very old lady for a turkey who has been commercially bred. She is very shy and timid and was struggling to fit in with our turkey girls, so we have put her with one of our smaller flocks where she is settling in nicely.

She enjoys sitting in the sunshine and watching the world go by. We’re delighted to be able to give Cilla a safe, loving home for the rest of her life here at the sanctuary❤
