New Arrivals: Fenella and Erin!

We’ve got some sweet new faces here at the sanctuary, and we’re excited to introduce you to them!

Two beautiful 14-year-old Belwen ewes have recently joined us. They have finished their quarantine period, been checked over by the vet and been treated for some minor health issues, been shorn, and are now out grazing in the sunshine with the flock. They were much-loved pets in their previous home and had never left the place they’d known all their lives, so the move and new environment have been a big adjustment for them. Understandably, they were feeling quite stressed.

At 14, they’re considered seniors. They are timid, but in the time they have been here, they have made some small positive changes. We’re hopeful they’ll make some new friends and settle in.
